If you’ve been searching for a solid work at home job that pays well and doesn’t ask for a ton of experience, this is one to move on quickly. A new Fraud Hotline Specialist position just opened, and it’s 100% remote. It pays $20 to $22 an hour, includes full benefits, and best of all — if you’ve worked in customer service, you’re qualified to apply.
This is a great opportunity if you’re detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and ready to help people protect their accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing
This isn’t a sales job. This role is all about fraud prevention and customer protection.
You’ll be answering inbound calls from internal teams, clients, or external financial institutions who are reporting suspicious activity. Your job is to gather information, protect the account, and escalate it to the fraud investigation team when needed.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do daily:
- Answer fraud-related calls
- Place holds or passcodes on accounts to stop more fraud
- Write and submit alerts to the fraud team
- Help customers understand the next steps in their claim
- Document everything carefully
- Support other departments in the fraud division
- Complete a few forms and work on special tasks as needed
If you’re someone who likes structure, systems, and making sure things are in order — this is that kind of job.
Do You Need Experience?
You do not need a long resume or banking background to get this job.
Here’s what they’re asking for:
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, bank, or fraud support setting
- The ability to stay focused, meet goals, and work independently
- Strong communication and attention to detail
So yes — if you’ve done customer service, especially in a call center or similar environment, you’re good to go.
Hours + Schedule
Most shifts run from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM EST.
Training will be during the day — starting at 8:00 AM EST.
Once training is complete, your regular schedule will kick in. Some alternate shifts may be available.
This is a fully remote role. You’ll be working from home and don’t need to report to a physical office.
Pay and Benefits
This job pays between $20 and $22 an hour, based on your location and experience.
It also comes with a full benefits package, including:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off
- Retirement savings
- And additional employee support programs
This is a high-demand position that doesn’t open often — and it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a full-time remote job with benefits, structure, and long-term stability.
The job posting expires on May 30, 2025, but roles like this often fill early. If you’ve got customer service experience and you’re ready to work from home, go ahead and apply before it’s gone.
