What Does an Engagement Moderator Do?
As an Engagement Moderator, your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and moderating social media feeds
- Responding to public comments and inquiries using pre-approved messaging
- Escalating more serious or sensitive issues to the appropriate security teams
- Following rules and guidelines that evolve based on the project
- Staying informed about relevant updates related to your assigned accounts
- Installing and using secure software tools to support client safety requirements
This is a remote, part-time position that allows you to work from various locations around the world. Current eligible locations include the United States, Africa, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region, Latin America, and the Philippines. However, applicants residing in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington are not eligible for this specific listing.
What You’ll Need to Get Started
This role requires reliable access to a standard laptop or desktop computer. Chromebooks are not accepted for ModSquad projects. You’ll also need to install specific security software and pass identity and background checks to meet client safety standards.
