Data Entry is one of the most requested work at home jobs out there. Many of you, myself included, prefer to work from the comfort of our homes without being required to pick up the phone. Data Entry work will not get you rich by any means, however, you can do this as a side hustle to bring in a little extra cash per month. To be successful at doing data entry from home you must: be a relatively decent typer, minimum 35-40 WPM, have basic computer skills and be able to pay attention to detail. I will list a few companies that are 100% LEGIT that hire data entry workers from home.
Amazon M-Turk – Amazon M-Turk is one of the most popular sites used to make money from home doing data entry. Check out my most recent video here that shows you how it works. Pay varies per piece of work, usually a few cents per piece. No Experience Required.
SigTrack – SigTrack is a company that hires data entry workers to process voter registrations and petition sign ups from home. They do require you to pay attention to detail. Multiple errors can result in loss revenue for you. Pay is again per piece. No Experience Required.
Microworkers – Microworkers is another site that allows you to grab data entry work. You will be processing things such as: shopping receipts, documents, audio, postcards & more. No Experience Required.
Fiverr – Fiverr is great for landing data entry jobs. I have talked about this website many times before. You can advertise yourself as a data entry freelancer and receive job offers from people needing different types of work transcribed. The best part about Fiverr, in my opinion, is that you can set your own prices. Awesome right? While its not MANDATORY that you have prior experience, it is a good idea to be able to show potential clients some of your previous work.
Axion Data Entry Services – Axion is one of those companies that require prior data entry experience, 2-3 years to be exact. You also must be able to type at minimum 50 WPM to be considered. They do not hire often but it is always a good idea to input your name into the system to be contacted when positions do become available. Pay is at a flat rate per page.
DionData Solutions – DionData is not actively seeking data entry workers at the moment. However, they ask that you check back often because they do re-open the application portal occasionally. Be sure to bookmark their website and check it as often as you can. Dion provides all the training and programs you need to do data entry with their company. No Experience Required.
The Smart Crowd – Smart Crowd offers part-time data entry work from home. You must pass a typing test to be considered for this one. Pay varies. No Experience Required.
Clickworker – Clickworker is another site similar to Amazon M-Turk. You can sign up to complete short tasks, one of those tasks being data entry. Pay varies. No Experience Required.
I hope this helps those of you who are actively looking for non phone data entry work from home. I will update this blog post as I find other legitimate work at home opportunities that involve data entry. Good luck to all those who check these out.
